State-of-the-Art Robotic Joint Replacement
I understand that knowing what to expect from your joint replacement experience is critical. Each patient is unique and may experience joint pain for different reasons. That's why it's important to schedule an appointment so we can discuss where your joint pain is coming from and review the treatment options available to you.
Pain caused by arthritis or joint degeneration may be constant or intermittent, may occur with movement or after periods of rest, and may be localized to one joint or affect multiple areas of the body. Many patients first try medications and other conservative treatments to manage knee or hip pain. When these options no longer provide adequate relief, you may be a candidate for robotic-assisted Total Knee, Total Hip, or Partial Knee replacement.

How Smart Robotics Works
This advanced technology is an innovative solution for many suffering from painful arthritis of the knee or hip.
Scan.
It all starts with a CT scan so your surgeon can know more about your anatomy.
The Smart Robot's
Plan.
The CT scan is used to create a 3D CT-based model of your joint. I can then use the Smart Robot's 3D model to create a personalized surgical plan that will help me in performing your joint replacement procedure.
You Can!
In the operating room, the Smart Robot's robotic arm's advanced technology helps me stay within the planned boundaries that were defined when the personalized preoperative plan was created.
Surgeon-Controlled Technology
I am performing the surgery, but guiding the robotic arm to position the implant in the knee and hip joints. The Smart Robot does not perform surgery, or make decisions on its own, or move without me guiding it. This next-generation technology just allows me precision, and to make adjustments to your plan during surgery as needed.
